Dawn

Far in the Eastern passage-way a sudden light;
The stone that blocked the sepulchre is backward rolled;
And down into the fœtid, stifling vault of Night
The naked corpse of Dawn is lowered, grey and cold.

Das Bestandige

Alles hat mir schon gelogen,
Jedes Hoffen mich betrogen,
Alles sich wie eitel Tand
Wechselnd von mir abgewandt;
Eines nur blieb mir getreu,
Ewig wahr und ewig neu:
Mein Herz - mein Schmerz!

Dard ki Aatish

Bohat khamosh reh kr jo sazae'n mujh ko deta tha,
Bare khamosh lehje mein sadae'n mujh ko deta tha,
Kabhi jo dard ki aatish mujhy sulgany lagti thi,
Wo apni saans ki mehki hawae'n mujh ko deta tha,
Usay mein ajnabi smjha magar har mor pr ‘MOHSIN'
Wo Apne nam ki sari duae'n mujh ko deta tha…

Dances by Moonlight

Upon the soft grass, in the night, the young girls with hair of violets have all danced together, one of each pair playing the part of the lover.

The virgins said: 'We are not for you.' And as if they were ashamed, they hid their virginity. A satyr played upon the flute under the trees.

The others said: 'We have come to seek you.' They arranged their tunics about them like the dress of men; and they struggled in ecstasy while entwining their dancing legs.

Dame

Toc toc Il a fermé sa porte
Les lys du jardin sont flétris
Quel est donc ce mort qu'on emporte
Tu viens de toquer à sa porte
Et trotte trotte
La petite souris
