The she cat -
Grown thin
From love and barley.

The shallows –
a crane’s thighs splashed
in cool waves

In the shades
I have three agonies: Drift. Love. survival
I have three happinesses: Poems. Throne. The Sun

He lay on his bed and solemnly 'signed,'
Gasping-perhaps 'twas a jest he meant:
'This of a sound and disposing mind
Is the last ill-will and contestament.'

The rude wind is singing
The dirge of the music dead;
The cold worms are clinging
Where kisses were lately fed.
