You ask me why I'm always teasing you,
You hate to have me call you pretty baby.
I really thought that I was pleasing you,
For you're just a baby to me.
Your cunning little dimples and your baby stare,
Your baby talk and baby walk and curly hair;
Your baby smile makes life worthwhile,
You're just as sweet as you can be.

That's why I'm in love with you,

This suspense is killing me,
I can't stand uncertainty.
Tell me now,
I've got to know,
Whether you want me to stay or go.

Than happy with somebody else.
You might find the nighttime

For I am brimfull of the friendliness
That in a little cottage I have found;
Of fair hair'd Milton's eloquent distress,
And of his love for gentle Lycid drown'd;
