I still see you burning bright In the yellow flame I have set, To slay the darkness that has filled In a deep cervice within my soul. In the deafening silence, I hear you, The voice drenched in the many overtones My heart plays to find the missing string Sweet yet bitter; a music beyond me. The little raindrops bring me you Splashing through the open window That I forget to close each day, hoping A whiff of your scent floating by. In solitary walks under the maple trees Where colours blend to a new world You touch me, and then I turn, only to Find your memories drowning me. The jasmine blooms in my garden White tiny princessess of the dark night, Speak of you, in hushed tones, lest I hear and let the salty river flow unchecked. When the blue sky turns into a canvas I miss you, a void in my vital shades; Dripping wet, the incomplete portrait Soon to turn into a pitch black screen. On the damp rainy days of July, with The steaming coffee mug you love, I need you, to snuggle in your arms The cozy warmth hugging us tight. Beyond the borders of the hearts, across The winding lanes of love;when a chattery Breeze whispers a secret So, do you find me?
