I wish you would cheer up. Your beautiful eyes have clouded over, leaving a glazed depression in their transformation, hurting my heart with each once over glance. Is it my fault? I wish you would respond when I ask you a question. I feel like I’m talking to a wall. You mumble the words I want to hear but your eyes tell me the truth. How do I fix this? I wish you could feel my frustration, and understand what I’m saying. But most of all I wish I was a better mom, maybe then I could help and I wouldn’t be wishing so much
