WHAT I DO

When I see a tramp in the street
Someone I don’t like to meet
With such dirty shoes on his feet
Why here and not at his abode
I walk on by or cross the road
It’s what I do

If I see a bug or even a moth
I don’t want holes in my cloth
It angers me incurring my wrath
I have no sympathy you see
So get over it, it is just me
It’s what I do

Striking a balance is my role in life
If I see any joy then I’ll bring strife
And split apart a man and his wife
A nice green leaf can prick like holly
I’ll undermine it if it’s nice and jolly
It’s what I do

By now perhaps you have guessed
My identity is quite unlike the rest
And I’m wearing a bullet-proof vest
Look down not up, is what I say
I’m here to rule the world my way
It’s what I do

I know every trick in every book
It’s gone, however hard you look
Is retribution just hung on a hook
It’s been my time ever since Eden
A garden they could not breed in
It’s what I do
