In light of surreal snow capped winter,
polar climes zero plummet,
yet Christmas tidings glow

As human beings we often shiver,
squirm in climates raw and harsh,
shudder in freezing fog,

Gleeful children throwing random snowballs,
shrieks that pierce sombre skyline
with an ice cool smug grin

Weather warning has this coloured chill tint,
to safeguard careless stroller,
on lethal black ice path

Closet Jack Frost syndrome gauche daredevil,
that figure skating flyer,
spurt atop glacial rink

December charm blithe focus twenty five,
carols, hymns, airs live broadcast,
arouse a glowing zeal

Santa Claus and reindeer crew skin bright moon,
as infants cross the age  span,
dream of ample bounty
