Somewhere in the space between night and day
The chill of midnight and the warmth of midday
Somewhere in the space between noise and activity
The pull of the hustle and grit of the grind
Somewhere in the space before to-do lists and play
The stress of obligation and the pause of the mind
Somewhere in this space I sit.
I sit and listen.
I sit and breathe.
I set an intention.
Today, I choose peace.
