A vacant city Deserves much pity For its lavish streets perish with time And the quaint store bells never chime The wind remains the only sound Not a single candy wrapper upon the ground Every footstep remains unheard No one daresay a single word An alley filled with the scent of chocolate drops coming from a place where no one ever shops A dusty roof Oh, there seems to be no living proof But don’t be alarmed This town has everyone charmed For the serenity only gives grace To somewhere we call a quiet place.
