Milky Way dream life
and other-worlds amazed me
an  earthbound urchin
science fiction films might stir
a pure childhood fantasy

But golden hearted
folks can sense that Christmas treat
their pearl orb tot yearns
“sight as vision  tinsel rapt”
“galaxies galore.” Mum beamed

My peepers cried dams
at magic flight wonderful 
cosmic distance bridged
telescope a nod to star
shiny clusters in heavens

Family ring glow
spark and madcap stellar glad
cached image-laden
supernova vault’s bright horde
that souvenir I cherish
