We came into a world not made by us,
Our hands too feeble to spin and create it,
Our knowledge insufficient for its creation,
Our understanding too meagre to position
the sky and its members,
We are partly able to comprehend,
the intricacies and complexities of nature abound,
What we know is given to us by Providence,
The theories and laws we attest to are given to us for profit,
To explore mother earth and extract deposits below,
To traverse the space for to birth new discoveries,
To research and innovate with creativity,
This our home we have threatened,
This our abode we have scarred,
This our residence we have endangered,
Our pursuit, our momentous bane,
Our activities, our gradual downfall,
Our engagement, our disaster lane,
The aftermath at ourselves we haul,
Preserving our home's pristine state,
Should be our higher calling.
