Year
A soft brown Dunnock bobs Across the grass seeking Out the morsels fallen from the feeders Suspended in the purple plum. A july hare jives joyously around The flat green floor searching for a Partner or perhaps the sweetest Tasting greens to chew. Then a robin that christmas joy Comes hopping from behind a hedge Its jubilation mid july as it joins the Dunnock in a breakfast treasure hunt. Its 7.18am and the world is wide awake The breathless bright blue sky We have spun another circle And i sip my coffee and give her thanks
