cinnamon toasted tea
of a thousand wants
and vulgar vapors
downing a BLT
behind in front
of Central Park
the bloody breeze
my shirtless sleeve
in a moment there is rhyme
between the dots of time
that battle from foot to sky
but do we ask why?
spring air
of taxis and towers
death and life’s
delicious ennui
fancy shops
parched dry, loveless
lighting cathedral candles
of mortals and angels complete
