Pen to paper or is memory
a latent docking bay
Gumption at first stroke without delay
inane displacement ritual frowned on 
by this earnest acolyte awash
with overarching narrative, somehow bursting
at the seams, well so it seems
When pun intrudes upon a
rampant doggerel off limits off course
imposter at the cutting edge of cant
Lamplight on a swivel as I dither
to an infinite cerebral rush
