She’s lost most control, And that, I don’t doubt. She’s fading, I’m faking, We’re both flipping out. She barely eats food, She struggles to stand, When near her I hope I can give her my hand To help her get up, To ease all her pain, If I could do something, I’d take her away To where she is love And love’s all she is. I’ll love her to death Then I’ll hear angels sing. When I’m in her space, The tears dwell inside. I feel all I want Is to crunch up and cry. A brain disease takes Your whole life from you. I know this because I the same suffer too. The illness, it takes The mind you once kept. It eats you away Until nothing is left.
