God needed an angel on that very day It wasn't a bad thing he took you away He saw you were done with your work here on earth You were tired and frail in need of re-birth You had asked him to help as we all do in prayer You told him it may be time to come there God saw your pain that would not go away And he needed another angel that day You'd done all you could, you'd fought a good fight God saw all your pain and he showed you the light We all miss you and love you and nothing's the same But we thank God for his mercy and taking your pain....
