I am a lone flute player with nothing in my bag,

traveling and gathering the ancient scripts on foreign parchment,

roaming the continents by foot and playing the echoes

of dusty ruins and fairy towers in concrete canyons.

Here, I commune with the spirits of Word

and modern souls that float across the seas—

Oh Muses, I lay these fragments at your feet,

upon your alter, in faith and inspiration.
