To the girl Who once knew What everyone's been through To the girl Who didn't care If anyone would stare; Cause she'd be the one who glares. All those laughter All those tears That we share for all those years Can't be redeemed by a single meet Can't be satisfied by a repeated greet All I know is this That I'll surely miss: The feeling of security That I thought you felt while being near me The meaning of life you'd concern your beautiful mind about The obvious reasons you'd come tell me through The plain innocence that you'd laugh at the slightest bit of joke; Even when it's about you. And the fact that I knew behind each laughter contains regret Everytime you'd laugh I'd reset All those people who made you laugh All those people who'd laugh at you And that maybe you'd feel secure again Like the carefree Laras who I knew wouldn't drain Her thoughts like she was in chains 'Til all she rememberred last was being in pain So this birthday, Celebrate life more Live and achieve much more Love and be loved Forgive and be forgiven Be open to yourself Be open for yourself Then I think you'll open the gate And unlock the daring fate That He Himself designed you for; That you'll live not to be mediocre But to fly and soar Unto the depths of your soul The heights of Heavens The widest horizons of dreams And through the longest journey you'll walk with Him "I hope you'll remenisce these as an eternal recollection of your life and your purpose of living it. To live freely is a gift, to give your life freely takes the power of love." - Reference : this was a birthday poem for my good friend, Laras.
