We. We who were once atoms now evolved.
if I were to tell you about love,
you'll quake and shake at the mention of its name
and your innocent soul, will no longer be pure again.

It wasn't daisies on your pillow case or breakfast in your bed.
It was monsters in your living room and traitors in your head.
It wasn't romantic walks in parks or silly conversations.
It was monstrous allegations and disastrous communications.

Love was no human; A man of death.
He knew no truth, his soul, a quest.
We, we who were once atoms
Have now fallen victim to love and his weapons.

Those good morning texts or missed calls,
were all death's, I mean love's, way
of leaving you sore.
Love was no man, a murderer was he.
He broke hearts and drank its blood like tea.

That's all he wanted, If we're being true,
he wants to break your heart in two.
To devour and divide, the power of your mind until
your soul is beckoning to survive.

To love I say, he who has gathered up countless hearts.
We are no strangers, for you are the man who tore me apart.
We were once lovers in this discontent world.
You, my love, held my soul
So dearly tight in your caress of death
Until my arteries came out my chest..
