Phyllis Garlick

Submitted by MyrnaM on
Hi. I'm a writer and musician, and am trying to get in touch with someone called Phyllis Garlick. I don't know if this poet (whose children's poems are included on the site) is the one I'm seeking. Can anyone help please?
I'm in New Zealand and from UK.

Tell Me What You Think About My Poems

Submitted by Lauriana on
Hi All,
I just got an account on Poetry Nook and would like if everyone would check out my poems and give me their input. I am not a professional poet, I merely write when I feel that I can. I have two or three poems loaded up so far.
Thanks!

Whose Behind the Likes??

Submitted by Michael Noir on
I would like to know how we find out who is liking our stuff. Can't seem to find out as clicking on the poem doesn't reveal this information. I am speaking of the weekly contest. I get likes, but can't see who is doing the actual liking. Is there a reason for this? Would really like to know the answer.

Dostoevsky

If you haven't read Brothers Karamazov by perhaps one of the greatest writers of all time Dostoevsky, here is a part, a story within a story, that will (I'm guessing) give you the needed push to run as fast as you can to the nearest library. Enjoy one of the greatest masterpieces of a brilliant mind of Dostoevsky! http://envs.ucsc.edu/internships/available-internships/new-internships/… I would love to hear opinions and impressions :)

Looking for Richard

If you haven't watched Al Pacino's "Looking for Richard" (IMDB link here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116913/?ref_=nv_sr_1) it is a glorious performance by everyone, but especially Al Pacino, whose ability to bring to life hero/villains (such as Richard and Scarface) is incredible. P.S.If you haven't read Richard III go to the library asap. It is one of the finest literary achievement men has ever produced.
