There is very little information about poetrynook on its own site. Even on the forums, the most we get is that it was on Duotrope, but was then removed from Duotrope. That's a big ol' red flag to many potential submitters. If you had a page that explained what poetrynook was, who was behind it, and why it was created, I think you would find a greater number of people visiting the site on a regular basis. I know it would put my mind at greater ease.

This is a valid and important point. The lack of an "About Us" page or clear mission statement on a creative platform can indeed be a red flag for writers and poets who are serious about their work. They need to feel confident that their submissions are being handled professionally and that the platform is legitimate.
