John (“Jake”) Cosmos Aller is a novelist, poet, and former Foreign Service officer having served 27 years with the U.S. State Department serving in more than ten countries. Prior to joining the service, he taught overseas for seven years.  He served in the Peace Corps in Korea.  He was born and raised in Berkeley, California.  He has completed  five  novels,  and published his poetry and fiction in electronic poetry forums, including All Poetry, Moon Café, and Duane’s Poetree and over 40 literary magazines.
