We Shouldn't Take Their Humanity
In South Carolina, while walking to his car peacefully,
outside of Brew's Bar, twenty year old Sean W. Kennedy,
was punched in the face and died that day,
simply because he was gay,
we members of such a cruel human race,
we shouldn't take their humanity-
The LGBTQ community have their right to
dignity in our shared space.
In Loving Memory of Sean William Kennedy,
and all LGBTQ victims of bullying/murder.
