All Equal
In a small, peaceful village nestled between rolling hills, people of all colors, shapes, and sizes lived together. But something was missing—they didn’t always get along. Disagreements over small things turned into big fights, and the people started drifting apart.
One day, a little girl named Mia stood in the middle of the village square holding a shiny red apple. She called out to everyone, "Come here! I want to show you something!" Curious, the villagers gathered around.
Mia took a knife and carefully sliced the apple in half. "Look inside," she said. The crowd peered closely. The apple was white on the inside, just like any other apple.
"It doesn't matter if the skin is red, green, or yellow," Mia explained. "Inside, they're all the same. Just like us. We all bleed red, and we’re all God’s children."
The villagers were quiet for a moment, thinking about Mia's words. Then an old man with a long beard stepped forward. "She's right," he said. "We’ve been focusing on what makes us different, but we should celebrate what makes us the same. Love one another and live in peace."
From that day forward, the villagers worked together. They shared their food, helped each other build homes, and sang songs of unity at the end of each day.
And the little village in the hills became a shining example of what it means to live with love and kindness, proving that no matter who we are, we’re all equal and stronger together.
