Women are lawless in the realm of paint,
And lack artistic conscience and restraint.
Art is with most a fancy or a fad,
Rarely the passion that makes mortals glad.
They ne'er invent a method nor a style;
But plagiarize with a relentless guile;
Till, with their pirate forays weird and wild,
Bold Captain Kidd seems usual and mild.
