We step on the mud, two pairs of clogs,
to have a drink in our friend's small study.
The evening rain about to let up,
the mountain shrouded with clouds reveals its head.
A thousand paddies brim with fresh water;
everywhere green rice stalks are growing.
Let us raise our cups to make you drunk.
This fall the harvest is sure to be good.
