— What is a man profited if he shall gaine the whol
world and loose his owne soule — Mathew-16-26:/

The Faire's Proclaimd, and evry Bulks Devise
Or Signe is to set out it's merchandise
The Docters all in Scarlet doe proclaime
And Learnedly Authorising the same
Gurve high Encouragement to those who are
Buiers and Sellers at this Mart and Fayer
Some sell Some buy as needs requier: Each one
Seeks to guive Others satisfaction
When All the Gaine Those make seems but to be
A Guilded nothing to Eternety

One Swears and Damms himself his ware's o'th'best
An Other willing to quit's Interest
In what it Cost him, so he may obtain
Your Custom is Content to pass by Caine
Thus this world dandles mortalls, whose lowe pitch
Ayming at nothing more than to be rich
Mistake their Marke, when All this world presents
Are but Enchanting Farded Complements
Set by th'Immortal Soule, whose prise is more
For loss of that Speaks all the world else poore
Ex quolibet ligno non fit Mercurius
sed ex Re qualibet Contemplatio Divina.
