Staying in a Mountain Pavilion on a Summer Night

Tall stand the peaks;
I take off cap and pin.
Rays of evening sunlight cast wild shadows
in the pines.
Palace Pool, limpid, calm, holds
the moon's reflection.
A breeze blows, vast, across the water,
tearing tinted clouds.
After wine, boy servant!
don't disturb my sleep.
