Drab look'd long at his neighbour's note,
Till he conceived a notion:
Drab put on his square-cut coat,
And cross'd the dancing ocean.

Drab gave a knock at the Emperor's gate
As humbly as he was able:
Drab took off his low-crown'd hat
And sat at the Emperor's table.
