Rain

The south wind brought a soft goddess,
moistened the bronze,
moistened the fountain,
moistened the wings of swallows and the golden hair,
moistened the tide,
moistened the sand,
moistened the fish
It quietly moistened the temple, the glade, and the theater
This serene procession of the soft goddess
Moistened my tongue.
