Had not the Lord declard Himself for us
May Israell now repeat
When men rose up that were malitious
And Threatned all alive to ear
Such waters had exceeded soe their bound
As that our soules for ever had been drownd

Those Streams (I say) boyling with wrath and pride
Had overwhelmd them quite
But be his name at all times magnefide
Who savd us from their Jawes and might
And as the Fouler of the bird doth miss
When the snares broak, Our Soul escaped is

Let then this Help that it may bear true date
Ascribed be to His name did Create
Both Heavn and Earth that soe our thankes put on
Noe falce endorce or superscription.
