When plotts are Proctors vertues, and the gift
Of offices shew not theyr worth but shift;
When an old Foxe shall lead a flock of geese
To spend theyr voyces to gett him a fleece:
When that a Colledges consent shall stand
To gamesters wicked bones and slight of hand,
And Seniors are not thought more learn'd or wiser
Because the Junior is the better dicer:
When art and knowledge shall excluded bee
By Matchavilian tricks and knavery:
When all this comes to passe, goe (Muses) then
Neere looke that Proctors should bee worthy men.
