                                              hair as dark as a winter night,
                                              they pause in their play
                                              to pose in a Christmas photo
                                              that captures smiles innocent,
                                              yet mischievous,
                                              their beauty God made perfect.

                                              Three Mona Lisas',
                                              daughters of Italy and the UK
                                              that married in their blood,
                                              DaVinci painted portraits long ago
                                              without the privilege of their presence,
                                              Dare I say,
                                              no artist could completely convey,
                                              these living, breathing, beauteous
                                              works of art, they
                                              filled the universe with their immortality
                                              when they were born.
