Hey, hey, hey, hey,
I will have the whetstone and I may.

I saw a dog seething souse
And an ape thatching an house
And a pudding eating a mouse.
I will have the whetstone and I may.

I saw an urchin shape and sewe
And anoder bake and brew,
Scour the pots as they were new.
I will have the whetstone and I may.

I saw a codfish corn sow,
And a worm a whistle blow
And a pye treading a crow.
I will have the whetstone and I may.

I saw a stockfish drawing a harrow
And anoder driving a barrow
And a saltfish shooting an arrow.
I will have the whetstone and I may.

I saw a boar burdens bind
And a frog clewens wind
And a toad mustard grind.
I will have the whetstone and I may.

I saw a sow bear kyrchers to wash,
The second sow had an hedge to plash,
The third sow went to the barn to thrash.
I will have the whetstone and I may.

I saw an egg eating a pie,
Geve me drink, my mouth is dry,
It is not long sith I made a lie.
I will have the whetstone and I may.
