Dare to stand for the right, tho' a host oppose,
Dare to face the world for the Lord, (bless his name,)
He is mighty to save to the uttermost,
Never fear but trust in his word.
Dare to think for yourself, guided by his word
Pressing on to victories new; (bless his name,)
Dare to do what is right in the fear of God,
Be a soldier faithful and true!
Hold up the standard of our King!
Never lay your armor down;
Dare to be loyal to the Lord
And you shall wear a crown.
In the strength of the Master go forth today,
'Gainst the pow'rs of darkness and sin; (bless his name,)
Never fear for the scoff, never fear the frown,
Go in faith determined to win.
