The poor sentence was alone
Without a paragraph, a context
Or reason for being
Independent, quite insufficient
And certainly unappealing.

But brandished in a poem
Titled, with a new coat of
Arms, it stood proudly
A force to be reckoned with
Fired with the mettle of the age.
