I
Swing, swing, in the faery ring
Wind of the Tree-tops, Dew of the Rose
Where faeries dance with trailing wing
And the elf-horn blows.
II
Soon, soon, the heavy-eyed moon
Drowsily sinks on the Dawn's pole abreast
And stars snuff out on the still lagoon
In the deep o' the breast.
III
Deep, deep, in the rose-heart sleep
Wind of the Prairie, Dew of the Flower
Till the sun goes and the shadows creep
At the faeries' hour.
