The Dark Wind

A dark Wind drifts about the world,
The sea flower-patterned flows;
Blows earth's green blaze, footprintless there
The Wind transparent goes.

Yet dark is that Wind, dark as the sky
Arched over fields of snow;
Dark the Feet that fret the blue wave
Where white magnolias blow.
