'Tis little, but 'tis witness of one soul, —
How life has curbed it to the just control
Of Duty, teaching that as first of good,
With humble faith and cheerful fortitude;
And so, by other heirs of joy and pain,
My voice, if heard at all, will not be heard in vain.
