Goddess of health whose all inspiring charm
Can Snatch from time the Trophies of his reign
Can smooth his brow his fiercest rage disarm
And loose the victim from his Iron Chain —
Shed on this day thy kindest influence
And make the Sage the object of thy care
While wisdom choicest gifts his lips despense
And a whole land in him thy blessings share.
To latest years the panacea lend
That more than bloom Shall gracefulness Supply
And peace and chearfulness their aid shall blend
To make his evening with the morning vie. —
On good honoria too thy comforts pour
And bid disease and sorrow flee away
To her thy long lost presence now restore
And crown the Joy of this auspicious day. —
