The best Meditation is that of Death Wishing for Heaven Despising Earth

As Frend to Death all byepast Merth and Jests
I doe renounce with all their interests
Casting them into th'Crittick sensuring seas
To be tost up and down as the winds pleas
Whilst thy Could Coast is feard of evry sowle
Pale Death that doe inhabit neath the Pole
Why should my Last hower then soe me afright
Who am secure entirely and in good plight
O Thou who dost greatly rejoyce to see
Those carefull minds full of Integrety
Pluck me some Heavnly joy and Comfort down
And for my Panung Soule get me a Crown
Sweet Rest. For nothing servs my Fayth 'thout Thee
That sign'st Reward unto Fidelity
Hence a New Life I may and shall attain
Exchanging this for an Eternal gain.
