The autumn season comes to the country,
a fresh coolness, as if after rain.
Your bag contains medicines proven to work;
your mat is piled high with the books you have written.
When the wine is warm, you know sadness will diminish.
When flowers open, you will feel your illness cured.
Why should you ever waste your money to buy
mountain fruits or fresh-water fish!
