TO A CELEBRATED METHODIST PREACHER .

H YPOCRISY'S Son!
No more of your fun;
 A truce with fanatical raving:
Why censure the Stage?
'Tis known to the age
 That both of us thrive by—deceiving.

'Tis frequently said
That two of a trade
 Will boldly each other bespatter:
But trust me, they're fools
Who play with edg'd tools;
 So let's have no more of the matter.
