Look straight before you. Thus,—as now you see it,
Yon pile hath stood, in all its stony strength,
Through centuries forgotten. Ruinous Time,
The outrageous Thunder, and all wasting storms
Have striven to drag it down; yet, still it stands,
Enduring like a Truth,—from age to age.
