WHEN THE HORSES HAD BEEN TAKEN OFF, &C .

B ROTHER Citizens, hear me! Demosthenes never
Had applauses like these — but he was not so clever.
May new T*******s hereafter from scaffolds escape!
And may I blush again at this National Rape!
When the carriage you seiz'd, what an elegant sight;
And so, Gentlemen Horses , I wish you good night.
Never more shall the Law touch a Citizen's ribs —
By the way — don't forget little Counsellor *****.
