Member Poem

It bloomed but,
for a fleeting instant, 
halfhearted blossom wilt season,
that betrayed its early vision.
Flower of Elysium poisoned,
by  its own roots.
Hive of fragrant bloom,
stung by a wasp,
from within  its own nest,
robbed of key essential nectar.
