Member Poem

Heedless  of your slant on things,
one can plot  so easily ahead,
I’m thinking in terms of leisure,
immense potential for joy,
a weekend or break which I may have,
available  to do as I wish,
with others or alone depending,
it could be family in several instances,
quite often close relationships,
a nearby neighbour partial to adventure,
dear friends so willing,
have this shared enthusiasm,
hobbies, pursuits, pastimes,
I stress the concept
pastime,
with prudence based on caveat,
latitude a  true parameter,
when contemplating something pearl endowed,
such as that  underrated heaven,  
named golden moment relished,

Please don’t  fritter time,
it vanishes in seconds,
to chase is pointless
