A Knockout Dream

The flight was wrong, I woke too soon
A tired sleep, I sleep no more
The sugar’s low, my head is light
This throbbing pain will last till night

Espresso dream, I cannot dream
My blood is shot, the caffeine’s gone
I cannot sleep, I dream of sleep
A dreaming sleep, a wired sleep

It didn’t seem the day was long
The beauty seen I wish I’d keep
I shouldn't come, I should’ve come, 
Tonight will be a knockout dream
