Oh Lord, my God, I have trusted in thee!
Oh thou dearest Jesus, now liberate me!
In rigorous chains,
In misery's pains,
My desire is for thee;
While languidly kneeling,
In sorrow's deep feeling,
I adore, I implore thee to liberate me.
