War And Peace

Peace, peace be unto all the world,
But ne'er by tyrants' will!
Only from Freedom's holy hands
Let peace the broad earth fill.

If universal peace on earth
In this wise there may be,
Then let us cast our arms away,
And sink them in the sea.

But, if not so, arms, arms till death,
A never-ending fray!
Yes, even if the war shall last
Until the Judgment Day!
